Catalog design for a “Virginia’s Finest” awarded bakery well known for its bundt cakes, jams and cookies. Art direction, product photo staging and package design also provided. A natural backdrop with minimal details was created to showcase Rowena’s traditional desserts. To complement the rustic photography a soft muted layout with a heartwarming typeface was chosen. The packaging is inspired by Virginia’s rich trade history. A historic colonial map juxtaposed with modern clean type met the creative vision to mix old with new.
